If you’re looking for pumpkin patches near Lake Charles, there are options ranging from quick local stops to full-day farm experiences with corn mazes, animals, food, games, and plenty of fall photo opportunities.

If you want the pumpkin-patch part of fall without turning it into an all-day road trip, this is the easiest place on the list to work into an afternoon. Holy Trinity’s annual patch is right in Sulphur, so Lake Charles-area families can make a quick stop for pumpkins and fall photos without driving an hour or more.
The 2026 patch is scheduled for October 4–31 at 1700 Maplewood Drive. Current published hours are 3–6 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Saturdays, and noon–6 p.m. Sundays.

CM Farms is the option on this list for families who want to turn pumpkin season into a full-day outing. The farm’s 2026 fall season runs on weekends from September 26 through November 15, with pumpkins, a giant corn maze, farm animals, photo setups, wagon rides, food, desserts, and more than 50 attractions spread across the property.
This is less of a quick pumpkin stop and more of a destination. You can wander the pumpkin barn, work your way through the 12-acre corn maze, meet the animals, let the kids burn some energy on the play areas and slides, then grab festival food or one of the farm’s over-the-top desserts before heading home.

Great Pumpkin Trail at Tuten Park
Local businesses, schools, and organizations turn Tuten Park into a trail of creative pumpkin scenes for the community to explore. The 2026 trail is scheduled to run from 9 a.m.–7 p.m. each day.

Howl-O-Ween at Bark Du Lac
Bring the dog along for this one. The City of Lake Charles’ annual costume contest includes pet competitions plus a kids play zone, food, and music. It runs from 10 a.m.–noon at Bark Du Lac Dog Park.

Art in the Park: Falling for Art
For a fall outing that isn’t centered on pumpkins or Halloween, the City’s seasonal Art in the Park event takes place at Drew Park from 10 a.m.–noon.
